There are also articles that won't have much following, but a blog stands up thanks to those posts. There are days, like weekends, when visits drop, although I think it depends on the type of blog. In mine they drop on Saturday and Sunday. It is therefore not appropriate to publish important articles on those days. But there are also other posts that the blog needs and that have never received much attention, such as reports of news on the blog, new series of posts, post-collectors, etc.
How to choose the posts to publish So what is the right combination of posts to write and publish on the blog? My method is to produce mostly original posts: it has become my blogging Phone Number Data philosophy. Think and write what others haven't written yet. I therefore give priority to this type of post. But I also publish evergreen posts, not often, because they are articles that perhaps require more time than others: it is easy to fall into banality or write texts of little use. Even in those posts, quality is a priority not to be given up on. I have published a few articles on hot, trendy, purely seasonal topics. On the one hand I don't like them very much, on the other they don't always fit into the topics I deal with.
Since my editorial calendar is quite advanced, about two months, I prefer to write and publish those posts as soon as the opportunity arises, so the same day or the next day, but in the afternoon. As for posts that inevitably receive few comments, as I mentioned they are generally left over the weekend, like stories. But there are also some afternoon posts, if there is a report to be made. I believe that the right combination depends on the objectives of the blog: a blog opened for professional purposes must give priority to original and evergreen posts. A blog that deals with trivial topics or even gossip will focus on hot and fashionable topics.
